My name is DIRK, and I am a handsome gray Weimaraner. I am a rather large boy, and I am very playful.  I am also very clumsy, so I need a family who is willing to be patient with me while I learn more manners.  I love hugs and being petted.  I walk well on a leash after I get over the initial excitement of going on an adventure.  I know how to sit for a treat and would love to learn a few more manners and tricks.  I am extremely energetic, so I need a family who hasa yard I can run in or who will frequently take me on walks/runs and/or to a dog park so I can be active.  Please consider giving me a forever home!

We gratefully accept donations of any amount to help our beautiful gray & blue friends in need. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Our rescue Weimaraners are current on all vaccinations and heartworm preventative. They are spayed or neutered, and micro-chipped or tattooed and registered with Tattoo-A-Pet. The adoption donation is $250.00 for adult Weimaraners, $300.00 for puppies, and $150.00 for seniors, special needs dogs and Weimaraner-mix dogs.
