The Lone Star Weimaraner Club The Lone Star Weimaraner Club, Inc. is the FIRST Weimaraner Club organized in the State of Texas, organized in 1964. Originally known as the “North Texas Weimaraner Club”, the first informal meeting of our club was held on April 19, 1964 at Bachman Lake in Dallas and was attended by fifteen people interested in the Weimaraner breed. NTWC was officially formed later that year. In 1995 the club incorporated and changed the name to the Lone Star Weimaraner Club, Inc., representing our statewide presence.LSWC activities include Licensed Specialty Show & Sweepstakes, Hunt Tests, Field Trials, the Annual Holiday Party, and support of Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas activities throughout the year. LSWC MEMBERSHIP is open to all persons 18 years of age and older who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club, who subscribe to the Purposes of the LSWC, who agree to support the Constitution & By-laws of the LSWC, the Weimaraner Club of America Code of Ethics, and the rules of the American Kennel Club.
