TOBY - College Station
4.5 yr old gray male

Hello!  My name is TOBY and I am a handsome, husky gray Weimaraner.  Before I tell you why I am the "World's Best Dog" - as my foster mom describes me - I need to let you know that I have a manageable condition called Hypothyroidism.  I take a small, white pill two times a day.  Don't worry too much about it, however, because my medicine only costs $5-$10 a month.  Also, despite my Hypothyroidism, I have plenty of Weimie energy - currently, I go for an hour-long walk everyday!  If you are curious about Hypothyroidism, please talk to your vet about my condition (be wary of internet information because there are some untrue things out there).

Okay, now about that "World's Best Dog" thing!  I am crate trained, house trained, and I take treats gently.  I know basic obedience and walk well on a leash.  I am great with other dogs, kids (any age), and even cats!  I love to play tug-of-war and fetch with you.

Here is what I don't do:  I don't jump on you, race out the door ahead of you, get on the furniture, dig through the garbage, countersurf, or wake you in the morning pre-alarm, begging for food!  Pretty perfect, huh?

My ideal new home will work to help me shed these extra pounds I have put on.  So, if you are looking for a lovable, well-behaved Weimaraner, I am your guy!  Please consider giving me a forever home.

Please ask about TOBY when you contact Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas.
