BRUNO - Houston 5/6 yr old blonde male
|
Hi! My name is BRUNO and I am a handsome blonde Weimaraner mix. I have had a tough life of abuse, neglect, heartworms, a tick-borne illness, a gunshot wound, and many bites and similar wounds. Do not worry about all of that, however, because I have been treated for everything and am as good as new! Also, despite all of these things, I still like other dogs and people. It takes me a little while to warm up to people, but once I do, I am very affectionate and love to be doted on.
I am a calm guy who is house trained and crate trained (although, I do not need it). I only know the command "come," so we might need to work on a few other things. I am good with other dogs and tend to ignore cats, so I could live with or without either. I am a lower-energy guy and am being fostered in an apartment, so a lot of space to run around is not necessary.
My ideal new home would be calm and gentle with me and would be patient while I warm up and get to know them. Would you consider giving me a forever home?
Please ask about BRUNO when you contact Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas.
